Dangers Of Breast Implants

Many women are getting breast implants or already have them.  Many of my friends have them.  I was thinking of getting them many years ago after having four children but I am so glad I didn't get them.  I have already have had too many health problems.

This article from Dr. Mercola's website is a very valuable read if you have implants or are thinking about getting them.  My dad is a pathologist.  He said that whenever he had to take a look at a breast implant under a microscope that had been taken out of a woman, it was covered in things that should not be in the human body.

The article said they need to be replaced every eight to ten years.  This is major surgery,  something that can't be good for us.  Now, I understand that some women have to get them after having breast cancer.  The article said there is a new procedure coming soon that will take fat from one part of your body and put it into your breasts which would be much healthier.

The basic problem I have with breast implants is that so many women, even very young women, feel they need to get them to feel attractive.  With pornography being so rampant and men being able to see large breasted women with a click of the mouse, it makes women who are small busted insecure.

I have always been fairly small, except when I was pregnant and nursing, and you know what, I have had an awesome life.  I never had problems getting boyfriends or a wonderful husband.  It doesn't affect our sex life in any way.

We must teach our daughters and young women in our lives that it is okay to be small.  Actually it is much more comfortable and as you age, large ones just hang down and start not looking so pretty.  Teach them to be content with the way God created them and confident who they are in Christ.

Godly men will want a woman who loves Jesus and walks with Him.  They will want a wife who will be a great wife and mother and who takes care of herself.  So just do the best with what God blessed you with and leave the rest in His hands.

I will give thanks to You,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
