Once you believe, God calls you a saint. Keep calling yourself a saint until you believe it. Way too many born again, freed from sin, washed in His blood, new creations continue calling themselves sinners. Stop! God no longer calls you a sinner. He calls you a saint, His child, a royal priesthood! Begin believing it. When you keep calling yourself a saint and believe it, you will begin acting like a saint.
So many people say they have no self-control. They are telling themselves a lie. If you believe in Jesus, you are filled with His Spirit. A fruit of that Spirit is self-control. He tells you that you have everything you need for life and godliness. Now begin believing it. Stop lying to yourself and calling yourself something you are not.
Women write me and tell me they are always angry and frustrated with their husbands. I tell them to change their thinking. Believe what God says about you, that you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you, and begin loving, serving, and pleasing your husband. Stop listening to the lies of Satan and listen to your Heavenly Father instead.
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens,
but you are fellow citizens with the saints and
members of the household of God,
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.
